Given that there is still no realistic date for the commencement of recreational cricket, including junior matches and/or group training, the Executive Committee have agreed unanimously to roll-over all Junior Membership for 2020 to cover the 2021 season as well. To be clear this is for children who are signed up with the club’s Junior coaching programme predominately 10 to 17-year olds.
Parents of All Stars or Dynamos cricket will be aware that their children will be signed up directly with the ECB and not Knowle CC, that said we are in constant communication with them over what arrangements will be made assuming we get little or no cricket this season, as soon as they have made their final decision we will assist them in informing our parents accordingly.
There may be some parents/children who may for whatever reason do not want their membership to roll-over, if that is the case can we please ask that you contact us via knowlejuniorcricket@outlook.com where we will endeavour to assist you.
We still hope for some form of cricket this year but given the disruption to this season and that it will probably continue for a while yet, we hope you find the Committees decision agreeable. You may be aware that the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have issued further guidance on training in small groups whilst maintaining social distancing rules, the club will review the advice and update you early next week either way.
